Re: eco friendly printing
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 1:41 PMwww.silkscreeningsupplies.com/ has a selection of eco friendly chemicals and i think they also have inks. It's called the "EnviroLine"
AmericanApparel.net has an organic line. to order from the factory you need a tax ID and things are pretty cheap. If you don't have a tax ID or don't have access to one you can pick up most things in their inventory are their retail store even though it's going to cost quite a bit more. There should be one near you in chicago. Actually there are four. you can find them on the site.
NatureWorks has developed a polymer from corn and each shirt is "made from 100% annually renewable resources"
as far as recycled paper goes depending on what you are needing it for exactly there are plenty of books on papermaking and in the back have resources that would benefit you. you don't have to buy it to use it so check out barnes & noble (or some retailer like that) and your local library. in my expeience the book regarding papermaking from plants are the most helpful.
hope i helped
